The eighth generation of the legendary Chevrolet Corvette is not only the next generation of this model, but we can unashamedly state that it is another level. The initial version is only slightly improved in terms of performance compared to the seventh generation, but later there will also be more powerful versions that are said to have up to 1,000 horsepower, which will surely trouble many European super sports. The initial version of the Corvette Stingray will have a 6.2L V8 engine with with a power of 495 hp and a torque of 637 Nm. And of course with cylinder cut-off technology, so consumption will be very favorable. The engine sends this considerable power to the rear axle via an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox with the option of paddle shifters under the steering wheel.

Gearbox - fast and accurate
